The heritage pub at Glenferrie and Dandenong had anchored the corner since the 1850s, and Studio McCue's redesign, a three-level hospitality destination within Kokoda Property Group's Malvern Collective, demanded imagery that could carry the project through the pre-completion and pre-launch campaign without flattening its character.

The CGI suite was built to hold three distinct registers: the heritage-grounded public bar on the ground floor, the restaurant above it looking down into the light filled beer garden and the moody listening bar on level 3.

Warm timber, brass, stone, and considered lighting rendered to capture the atmosphere of these spaces.

The Angel of Malvern arrived fully realised before a single fit-out was finished.
